Professional Career History:

Prior to his appointment, Magistrate Judge White served as the United States Attorney for the Northern District of Ohio. While United States Attorney, he was appointed to the Attorney General’s Advisory Committee and chaired the Law Enforcement Coordinating, Victim, and Community Issues subcommittee. He also served on the Terrorism and National Security, the Border Issues, and the Violent Crime subcommittees. He is a past chairperson of the Cleveland Federal Executive Board. He served as the Lorain County, Ohio, Prosecuting Attorney for 22 years, during which time he was a member of the Ohio Criminal Sentencing Commission from 1990 to 2001.
