Magistrate Judge Lowe joined the New York City firm of Thacher Proffitt & Wood as a litigation associate after law school. Subsequently, he moved to Syracuse and for five years was an Assistant United States Attorney for the Northern District. He later was appointed as the District’s United States Attorney, in which position he served for four years. For the twenty-one years prior to his judicial appointment, he had been a partner at the Syracuse firm of Bond, Schoeneck & King, concentrating in white collar criminal defense and federal court civil litigation.
