Professional Career History:

Magistrate Judge Robinson clerked for Chief Judge H. Carl Moultrie I of the Superior Court of the District of Columbia from 1978 to 1979. Following her clerkship, she joined the United States Attorney’s Office for the District of Columbia. During her eight-year tenure as an Assistant United States Attorney, Judge Robinson prosecuted criminal actions in both the Superior Court and the United States District Court, argued appeals in both the District of Columbia Court of Appeals and the District of Columbia Circuit, and served in the Civil Division. Additionally, she is a member of the adjunct faculty at Catholic University of America Columbus School of Law (Administration of Criminal Justice Seminar and Trial Advocacy).
