When are you going to update the pages with the data/information from the posts?

sounds like a great idea. there is a great need for a website with clerk info, but so far this one has yet to meet that need. people deciding what kind of resume to build, where to go to law school, and basic prestige whores want the DATA. someone should contact law schools and find out how many students landed clerkships, and where, how many were on law review, how many were non-trad, how many were 3Ls, how many were alumni, etc. It would be useful to see evidence regarding which schools career planning offices are doing the best job of getting their students into clerkships and some info on firm clerkship bonuses would be nice too

I agree with #1. There's still a lot of data from 2009 and 2010 that hasn't been updated.

 School pages

How about some school specific pages that allow us to look at how each school did with clerkships?

 School pages cont.

It would be helpful to include a feature showing where each clerk went to undergrad too.

Before the hiring plan, early (i.e., 1L) clerk hiring meant that clerks were mostly hired on the basis of undergraduate school and GPA. (For example, if you were at YLS you were effectively competeting for feeder judges based on only one semester of law school grades). But in light of the plan, I really don't think that undergraduate school really matters very much anymore. And further, that kind of information would be much, much harder to track. So I disagree with #8.

Yeah, undergrad stuff should not be a priority. It just doesn't seem relevant to who gets hired.

 Undergraduate

I agree, in part, with No. 9 & 10, but undergraduate information of hired clerks is helpful in ascertaining a judge’s hiring trend. Some judges are attracted to an applicant because they attended the same undergraduate. But, other than that, I don’t see a huge need.

I doubt undergraduate background is nearly as important as other factors (e.g., law review membership, moot court success, work experience) that aren't tracked. In any case, it's a moot point, as clurker seems to have abandoned this site. Or at least, he has stopped updating the data, which is what most people actually want.

 Suggestion

Since clurker seems to have given up on the site, maybe he should add in some feature that allows users to register and add information to the database (I figure a registration requirement will prevent spammers). Something like Law School Numbers.

Or, if clurker isn't going to update the data on the website, someone should start a new, similar website and use this data.

 Where's clurker?

What's amazing is that clurker doesn't even respond to month-long comments asking where he has been and why he hasn't posted anything on the site. Seriously--did clurker fall into a well, or did his employer prohibit him from making any posts, or what?

Has Yale 3L Nesberto Wilson obtained a clerkship for 2011-2012 yet?
