The Washington Post reports that President Obama has nominated Virginia Supreme Court Justice Barbara Milano Keenan to a vacant position on the United States Court of Appeals for the Fourth Circuit.

Obama's 2d Cir. nominee. Gerard Lynch, was confirmed by the Senate today. See http://www.senate.gov/legislative/LIS/roll_call_lists/roll_call_vote_cfm.cfm?congress=111&session=1&vote=00288. I'm still trying to figure out what the deal is with Davis, Hamilton, and the other pending COA nominees. I'll try to post when I do.
