Does anyone know if Justice Sotomayor has hired anyone for the 2011 term? Per ATL, there is a rumor that she has reached out at least to either some former clerks or some of the people who were supposed to clerk for her on the Second Circuit this past year (had she not been elevated). Any truth to that?

So perhaps we know that she has agreed to hire her would-be Second Circuit clerks at some point. But do we know whether she has hired any of them for OT2011?

SS called recommenders in late Dec to decide whom to call in for OT2012 interviews in January. She hires late, so I don't think she has even started OT2013 (except for the holdover clerk from CA2 that she needs to slot in).
