Don't know anything about the rumored Columbia hire. Can confirm that Posner hired from Yale. He also just hired a U Chicago rising-3L. So if the Columbia hire is true, he's done.

I have heard that she is receiving applications early, but is interviewing/hiring on-plan. I think this change has something to do with the plan having tight deadlines this year.

A friend of mine works in the Courthouse and heard that Sykes had hired a Yale 3L for her last spot. My friend didn't catch the whole name -- said it sounded like Nesberto or something. Hope this helps.
