No idea if Selya made the IU hire this year or last, but either way he's clearly hiring "early" (assuming the tip about the IU hire was correct).

In addition to the IU hire, Judge Selya also hired one from Harvard. Both were hired recently (so, "early," i guess).

If by Judge Kermit you mean Judge Lipez, no apparent word yet, but he updated his OSCAR today so maybe some movement will occur soon.

I got an acknowledgement postcard from Judge Lynch today saying that she gets hundreds of apps and only interviewed applicants will be contacted.

The listing is incorrect for the 2010-11 Lipez clerks -- UCLA and Michigan are correct, but there should also be a Stanford clerk in there. Don't know which one (if either) of the Harvard clerk listings is correct.
